Happy Valentine's Day!

Oh my gosh, how time flies. We had a busy end of the year & the month of January flew by us!
We spent the 1st weekend in December in Atlanta visiting Danny, Traci & the boys and attending the SEC Championship game. What a great game! Unfortunately Bama lost but the game and the atmosphere was AWESOME! The next weekend, Tracy, Leigh Ann & Taylor came to visit us while Taylor competed in a cheerleading competition in Tunica. We enjoyed watching Taylor compete in Tunica. Uncle Jamey came in town for Christmas. We had lots of fun playing the Wii & Basketball while he was here. We headed down south on New Years Day. The kids spent some time with Grandpa & Miss Jenny while Randy & I spent some time in New Orleans & Uncle Jamey. We were able to go to the Sugar Bowl, again not another good outcome for Bama, but we enjoyed the food & atmosphere in the Big Easy!

Cassidy celebrated her 10th birthday (a few days early) with Grandpa & Miss Jenny by going to Mellow Mushroom, a movie "Bedtime Stories" and ice cream from Mr. Gene's Beans. Carson & Mary Fuller celebrated with her except they went to see "The Tale of Despereaux" with Miss Jenny instead of "Bedtime Stories". We spent the rest of January relaxing and getting back in to the normal routine (if there is one). Golf practice started two weeks ago & their first match is in 2.5 more weeks so we getting busy again at the golf course.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Fall has flown by us with activities. Carson is the birthday party expert, he has been to bowling, jumping on inflatables, indoor jungle gym & McDonalds parties within the last month and then throw in the celebrations at school -- Whew! Carson's class has had a lot of activities with the Pumpkin Patch, Cotton Picking, Nursery Rhyme day & earning their turkey feathers.

Cassidy had her 4th grade play, "How Does Your Garden Grow" & she was a dancing flower. She has been busy working on projects for school & studying for tests. She got her ears pierced in September & cut her hair for Locks for Love last week, lots of changes!

They got out of school on Friday, for Thanksgiving Break and go back December 1st. We are all looking forward to some relaxing days before our crazy December gets going, more on that later!

Saturday's in the South

Saturdays in the South usually revolve around college football and mostly SEC football. This month we went to the Alabama VS Tulane game the first weekend in September. The second weekend Randy & Cassidy attended the MS State VS Auburn game in Starkville . Last weekend we took a trip to Kentucky for the Ryder Cup(golf does exist in the fall it just comes in 2nd) so we had to stay home and relax this weekend and rest our voices. Besides there were so many good football games on we had to stay home and watch them! I have attached some pictures from Tuscaloosa and our Kentucky trip. I wish I could have taken my camera to the Ryder Cup but they only allow cameras on the practice round days. Oh well ~ Enjoy what I have!

1st Day of School!!!!!

The kids started school 8/14/08, Carson in 5K and Cassidy in 4th grade. We have had a very busy summer with lots of swimming, golf, tennis, baseball & softball. Randy & I, unfortunately, got a little older also.

Carson also had his tonsils out on 8/8/08 and got to eat lots of ice cream and popsicles for the first couple of days. He has done great and hopes to get back in the pool this weekend.

Summer Time

We are off and running!

Sorry it has taken me so long to update, golf, tennis, softball and teeball are keeping us busy and my late night blogging has been put aside to keep up with laundry and cleaning the kitchen. We started the summer with Junior Golf Camp and had 38 kids (our biggest one yet) for 4 days. The next week Cassidy played in a golf tournament in Columbus, MS. She finished in second, 2 shots behind the winner. From that tournament, we drove on to Atlanta to visit Todd & Rachelle and see Danny & Traci's boys (Cameron, Aaron & Braedon) play baseball. Since we have been back in Greenwood, we have spent several nights at the ball park watching Cassidy & Carson play ball. I'll update with some more pictures in a couple of days.

They're Off!!!!

Cassidy got her braces off 5/7/08. Her teeth look good and now we just pray that when we lose the rest of the baby teeth the permanents come in straight!
